RESIDENTIAL CHECKLIST:

When applying for a residential loan, lenders will want the following documents for the underwriting of your loan…..

1) Paystubs
a. last two months if possible
b. for both borrower and co-borrower
c. lenders like to see applicants that have been in the same
line of work for two plus years

2) Bank Statements
a. last two statements for all checking and savings accounts

3) Brokerage Statements
a. any statements on IRA, stocks/bonds, money markets, etc.

4) If renting – landlord contact information
a. lenders usually request a landlord statement explaining how wonderful
you are as tenants.

5) Tax Returns
a. last two years

In order to better fill out the application – it is important to have a listing of:

1) your assets
a. bank accounts
b. cars
c. retirement, etc.
2) debts
a. credit cards
b. student loans
c. personal loans, etc.

Finally, and most importantly, you will need to have an understanding of where your credit is at before applying. This will help us figure out what is the best fit scenario for you.

This list is just a start, often they will ask for more so be ready!
